Remington Hotels, one of the largest independent hotel management companies in the U.S. with more than 90 hotels in its portfolio, is offering guests the option to check in via mobile phone, request a secure digital key and proceed straight to their room upon arrival at its independent hotels nationwide using the OpenKey mobile key app.
“Providing the kind of personalized service that our guests expect depends on us listening to their changing needs,” Remington CEO/President Sloan Dean said in a statement. “While we pride ourselves on delivering distinctive service at our front desk, we recognize that some guests would rather spend time with our staff later on and go straight to their room upon arrival—the mobile check-in and secure digital key capability of OpenKey allows us to offer that option in our hotels nationwide.”
