Scandic is testing digital check-in and mobile room keys

Scandic's guests have enjoyed the possibility to check in online site 2013. Now, to make it even easier to manage the entire hotel experience, Scandic is testing digital check-in and mobile room keys at selected hotels in Stockholm.

Guests at selected Scandic hotels in Stockholm will be able to test digital check-in and mobile room keys. In just a few clicks, they will be able to check in quickly, choose their room and pay for their stay as well as use their mobile phone as a key instead of a traditional keycard.

“Our Nordic guests are used to digital solutions that provide seamless service, which is why we are investing in expanding our customer offering further,” said Thomas Engelhart, chief commercial officer. “By offering digital check-in and mobile room keys, we will be able to provide smart and simple services for our guests.”
