Aimbridge Hospitality appoints new GM, director of sales for the Statler in Dallas

The Statler hotel in downtown Dallas named a new GM and director of sales and marketing. The boutique hotel is currently undergoing a $225-million redevelopment and is set to open in late spring 2017.

Aimbridge Hospitality, which manages The Statler, selected Evan Danziger as GM and Jennifer Wasserman as director of sales and marketing for the property.

He previously served as GM at the Embassy Suites Denver International Airport; assistant GM at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Scottsdale; operations manager of the Hyatt Place in Boise, Idaho; and a variety of top-level management positions throughout the United States. Additionally, Danziger owned and operated a recruitment agency, Open Door Hospitality, for five years where he recruited for high-profile companies within the hospitality industry, including Aimbridge Hospitality.
