My Place launches Always Clean initiative

My Place Hotels of America is instituting an enhanced range of hotel cleanliness processes and procedures alongside its operators, franchising partners, Ecolab and the American Hotel & Lodging Association as part of the brand’s ongoing initiative to provide its guests with the safest and cleanest lodging experience possible.

My Place Hotels announced the development of its new initiative, Always Clean, a program designed to exceed the evolving demands of today’s travelers. While guests have experienced a variety of enhancements made in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, the company is rolling out additional measures at all 55 My Place Hotel locations.

The enhanced measures are part of a multifaceted plan to ensure they are appropriately positioned for the road ahead.

Evolving Demands

The Always Clean initiative features standard enhancements to build greater guest confidence in the brand and its operators. The program includes:

  • Increased cleaning of high-touch areas throughout public spaces and guestrooms utilizing sanitation products from Ecolab
  • Expanding options for contactless payment methods
  • Signage and collateral rollout to promote CDC guidelines
  • Modified housekeeping schedule based on guest requirements
  • Continued guidance and trainings to be provided to all hotel staff

Partnership with Ecolab

My Place Hotels will continue to utilize certified sanitation and disinfectant products through an ongoing partnership with Ecolab, a leader in water, hygiene and energy technology, across the brand. Guests can expect to see further enhanced cleaning processes across all My Place Hotels.

Safe Stay Advisory Council

As a part of this push, My Place Hotels is announcing its participation on the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s “Safe Stay” Advisory Council, which was founded as a part of the association’s “Safe Stay” initiative.

Sarah Dinger, My Place Hotels SVP of brand management, serves as the voice of the brand on the council as it works to inform decision making and develop strategy to push the industry’s sanitation standards forward.

“I am pleased to represent our owners and operators while serving as the united voice of the My Place family on the AHLA Safe Stay Advisory Council,” said Dinger. “While safety and security have long served as the basis for the important decisions we make at My Place, there has never been a more important time to unite with our fellow industry leaders as we work to inform change and ensure travelers around the world feel safe enough to return to hotels for their future adventures.”
